According to latest GLPOR survey 53 % of Britons strongly support having an additional bank holiday in May of this year to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day (the end of World War 2 in Europe), compared to 3 % who strongly oppose, 25 % somewhat support, 7 % somewhat oppose and 12 % don’t know.
