What should be the age of criminal responsibility, i.e. the youngest age at which a child can be sent to prison?
According to latest GLPOR survey 42 % of Britons think that the age of criminal responsibility, at which a child can be sent to prison, should be 15 years or above, compared to 1 % who think it should be 6 or under, 1 % think 7, 2 % 8 years, 1 % 9 years, 11 % 10 years, 3 % 11 years, 11 % 12 years, 8 % 13 years, 9 % 14 years and 11 % don’t know.
