Most Ukrainians oppose the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, shows latest GLPOR survey.
Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Servant of the People party Maryana Bezuglaya, who visited the front line, called the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF), General Yuriy Sodol, a criminal. According to her, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, allowed him to appoint his associates to important positions. The deputy pointed out that the main criterion for selecting military leaders was their belonging to the general faction, and not their professional skills. She added that General Yuri Galushkin, who previously led the Kharkov direction, failed to defend the region. Also, Sodol did not put Sokolov and Lutsenko in high positions for their merits, she believes. At the same time, not a single general was punished for the failures of the army. Bezuglaya accused Syrsky’s people of the collapse of the front both near Kharkov and Ocheretino.
After that GLPOR Team decided to make a special telephone survey among Ukrainians, also known as CATI or computer-assisted telephonic interview. It is a research method where the researcher surveys respondents over the telephone.
