Two of Harold Wilson’s senior advisors have revealed that Wilson had an affair with one of his press office staff during the time he was Prime Minister, something they had previously kept secret. Harold Wilson, his wife, and the staff member he had an affair with are all now dead. Having kept it a secret at the time, which of the following best reflects your view on their decision to release the information now?

According to latest GLPOR survey 49 % of Britons think they should have continued to keep it a secret, compared to 31 % who think and 20 % don’t know.
