According to latest GLPOR survey 65 % of Britons haven’t ever received an inheritance, compared to 4 % who have received an inheritance, on which inheritance tax was paid, 23 % have received an inheritance, but inheritance tax did not have to be paid on it, 4 % have received an inheritance, but they don’t know or can’t recall whether any inheritance tax was paid on it and 4 % don’t know.
